Packaging add-ons are the optional layers beyond the plastic, inner box and master carton of the shisha charcoal packaging system. They do three jobs: branding and anti-counterfeit consumables put your brand on the package and protect it, load securing keeps the stack stable, and transit protection guards against moisture and condensation.

Palletized loads speed container stuffing and protect cartons from floor moisture; loose floor-loading is available to maximize tonnage.

1. Branding & anti-counterfeit consumables

Note

Consumable specs — sticker sizes and shapes, tape widths, label and insert dimensions — are made to your order; we describe the capability here and confirm specifics on inquiry. Every item in this group is printed from your supplied artwork (we provide templates where relevant; we print, we don't design).

The same inner box can ship plain or printed with the buyer’s artwork; the charcoal inside is identical.

Available

Resin-domed stickers give a tactile brand mark that is hard to replicate cheaply — a quality cue and a soft anti-counterfeit signal.

Master cartons are taped shut and labeled with the UN 1361 marking, net weight and country of origin before palletizing or loading.

Full-color labels applied to the master carton are the lower-cost, fast-turnaround branding alternative to printing the carton directly — well suited to smaller runs and mixed containers.

2. Load securing

Strapping and edge protectors stabilize the stack, and wood pallets are ISPM-15 heat-treated for forklift handling.

Corner boards protect carton edges under strapping and pallet loads, spreading compression away from the carton corners.

Palletization

Cartons can ship palletized rather than floor-stuffed. Wood pallets are ISPM-15 heat-treated and marked, as ISPM 15 sets out for wood packaging in international trade; plastic pallets: availability confirmed on inquiry. A 20ft on wooden pallets loads only 15–16 tons and is not recommended; palletized loads ship in a 40ft.

Stretch-wrapping holds carton stacks together on the pallet so they survive forklift handling and the container stow.

3. Transit protection

The moisture protection is layered: the inner plastic is the primary barrier, desiccant absorbs what is left, and a thermal blanket handles condensation.

Desiccant / silica gel

Desiccant absorbs residual humidity over sea transit at two levels: sachets inside the cartons, and container-level desiccant (poles or blankets hung in the container) for long or humid routes.

Cartons are stacked wall to wall so no cargo shifts in transit; IMDG Special Provision 978 requires at least 30 cm of headspace above the top tier.

A thermal blanket lines the container against condensation ("container rain") and temperature swings on long transits and climate transitions — recommended for long routes and humid seasons.

What packaging add-ons do you offer?
Three groups: branding and anti-counterfeit consumables (stickers, 3D domed stickers, QR and hologram stickers, branded tape, branded silica, box labels, inserts), load securing (strapping, edge protectors, palletization), and transit protection (desiccant and thermal blanket). All are ordered with your container; this page marks which are available and which are confirmed on inquiry.
How can I protect my brand from counterfeits?
The anti-counterfeit set is QR stickers for authenticity verification, holographic security stickers that are tamper-evident, and 3D domed stickers that are hard to replicate; QR stickers, hologram stickers and 3D domed stickers are available. We print the buyer-supplied QR codes; the landing page and verification system are yours to run.
Can the stickers, tape, and silica gel carry my brand?
Yes — stickers, sealing tape, and silica sachets can all be printed with your brand from your supplied artwork. Plain tape and plain sachets are the defaults if you don't brand them.
Can you apply printed box labels instead of printing the carton?
Yes. Full-color box labels applied to the master carton are the lower-cost, fast-turnaround branding route — well suited to smaller runs and mixed containers. If you'd rather print the carton directly, that's covered on the master-box page.
Do you include desiccant, and do you offer container-level desiccant?
