Who we are
We are an Indonesian manufacturer and wholesale exporter of coconut shell charcoal briquettes for shisha and hookah. Our specialism is narrow on purpose: low-ash, low-moisture briquettes pressed from 100% coconut shell charcoal. We do not produce BBQ charcoal, activated carbon, or wood/lump charcoal — every line in the factory is tuned for shisha specifications.

Certifications & compliance
Every shipment travels with IMDG Code UN 1361 Class 4.2 (spontaneous combustion) documentation and a Certificate of Origin — preferential where a trade agreement with the destination applies, non-preferential otherwise. Ash, moisture, fixed carbon and volatile matter are verified on every container by an accredited independent laboratory (Carsurin, Beckjorindo or SGS).
Sourcing
Our supply chain
We source raw coconut shells from a network of partner villages in North Sulawesi, Maluku, NTT, securing year-round raw-material availability and consistent ash and moisture across every container.
Most of our charcoal is carbonized at our own plant in Bitung, North Sulawesi; we supplement from vetted suppliers to meet demand.

Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM accept declared UN 1361 charcoal out of FOB Semarang, Indonesia. Acceptance changes over time, so we confirm the line and schedule at booking.

Bank details are issued on the proforma invoice after KYC. Confirm them by phone or video call with the director, Andri Dharmawan, on the published office line before any transfer.

Payment terms
All payments are accepted exclusively by bank transfer to the company account under the name PT Mulia Coconut Charcoal Indonesia. Accepted currencies: USD, EUR, CNY. We never accept payments to personal accounts and never accept funds under any other beneficiary name.
