How can I verify the factory before I order?

Visit our Semarang factory in person, join a live WhatsApp video call from the floor, or visit the Bitung carbonization plant by appointment. The factory appoints the surveyor at stuffing by default, usually Carsurin, SGS or Beckjorindo. A buyer may nominate their own surveyor instead.

1. What the tour covers

These are the stages at our Semarang factory, a 4,200 m² site — what a visit shows and what a live WhatsApp video call can cover:

  • Milling and sieving the char to a uniform powder
  • Mixing with the natural binder and pressing into shape
  • The temperature-controlled drying tunnels
  • The weathering area where briquettes rest before packing
  • The QC bench running moisture and burn/ash tests
  • Packing and container stuffing for export
  • Carbonization, at our Bitung plant: visits there by appointment

2. Send your own inspector

The factory appoints the surveyor at stuffing by default, usually Carsurin, SGS or Beckjorindo. A buyer may nominate their own surveyor instead. We coordinate access and the timing around your booking.

3. Visit the factory in person

We welcome buyers at the Semarang factory: come and see production, the QC bench, and a container being stuffed and sealed. The carbonization plant at Bitung can be visited by appointment. If travel isn't practical, we arrange a live WhatsApp video call from the factory floor. Tell us your timeline and we'll set it up.

4. From first contact to shipment

Here is the path a typical order follows, so you know what each step looks like before you start:

  1. Contact us with your target specs and destination

  2. Free samples to verify the burn in your own lab

  3. Quotation — price, MOQ, and lead time

  4. Purchase order and proforma invoice

  5. Deposit confirms the order and schedules production

  6. Production in our factory

  7. Inspection — ours, and yours if you appoint a surveyor

  8. Container stuffing, sealing, and shipment

Carbonized shell is milled to a uniform charcoal powder and sieved for particle size, which controls briquette density and finish.
Milled coconut shell charcoal is blended with food-grade tapioca binder in ribbon mixers to a consistent paste before pressing.
Hydraulic presses compact coconut shell charcoal powder and tapioca binder into shape at high pressure.

Weathering lets freshly pressed briquettes equalize moisture with the air and lets the reactive carbon surface stabilize before packing.
Temperature-controlled drying brings briquette moisture down to specification before packing.
Finished-briquette inspection typically covers edge quality, dimensions and moisture before packing.
Briquettes are sealed in inner plastic first; the printed inner box carries the brand and the retail markings.
Charcoal takes up moisture from humid air, so finished cartons are stored dry, under cover and off the floor until loading.
